Terms of use

Last updated 21 September 2026

PeaceScribe is a private writing application operated by Anne Preston, MindBodySpiritCoaching, in British Columbia, Canada. These terms apply to anyone using it.

A private application

PeaceScribe is not offered to the public. It is not open for sign-ups, and only one Google account is permitted to sign in. Please do not try to reach any part of it that requires signing in.

Your writing is yours

Everything written in PeaceScribe belongs to its author. PeaceScribe claims no ownership of it and no licence to it, beyond what is needed to store it and copy it to the author’s own Google Drive.

Google

PeaceScribe uses Google sign-in and Google Drive, so their use is also subject to Google’s own terms. What PeaceScribe does with Google data is set out in the privacy policy.

Availability

PeaceScribe is provided as it is, and may change, pause or stop. It is designed so your writing never depends on it: every piece is also kept as a plain text file in your own Google Drive. Please keep those copies.

Responsibility

To the extent the law allows, PeaceScribe is provided without warranties of any kind, and Anne Preston is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from its use, including loss of data.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and of Canada.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version will appear here with a new date at the top.
